font display size

Word is a bit screwy on screen type sizes. 10 point type on my screen is too
small to read or work with, so I have to work in 12 or 14 and then
(hopefully) remember to resize before I print. It's inconvenient. Is there a
workaround?

Wrong newsgroup (this is Entourage, not Word). But it's simple: just change
the zoom from 100% to 125% (or 150 %). That won't affect the type size for
printing, just what you see on screen. It's in the Standard Toolbar.

Follow up, if need be, in microsoft.public.mac.office.word

When my bosses computer (Mac AGP G4 os x 10.2.8) using Entourage v. x
(10.1.5) receives an email from a pc the font size is very small and it also
prints out small. He has a 15 inch Apple lcd display.
Here's the odd part, if he forwards that to a similar Mac except that it has
a crt display, the email font displays normally and prints correctly.
Would anyone know what's going here?
Thanks
Jim

Check his version of Entourage again. In v10.1.4 the display will be
analogous to what you'd see on a PC. In v10.1.1 and earlier it will be tiny.

If it's not that, check the screen resolutions of the two computers.
Entourage 10.1.4 uses pixels, rather than points, to calculate font size. If
he has a higher screen resolution on the first computer then there are more
pixels to the inch and the size will be smaller.
