Hi everyone, Once in a while I receive a PPT file from a colleague. When I
copy his slide(s) into my presentation the incoming font goes huge in my
presentation without warning. Is there a setting that I have missed?

It's because they've used a font that you don't have on your PC. PowerPoint
automatically matches the closest font that you have installed on your PC.
Ask your colleaque to either stick with fonts that are on almost all PCs
(Arial, Tahoma, Verdana) or embed the fonts before sending you the
presentation.

Even embedding the font might not do the trick, depending on the licensing
restrictions, since Gilles wants to incorporate (edit) the slides in another
presentation.

Thank you Glenna and Sonia for the prompt response. I neglected to mention
PPT 2000 is the software in this case.
