Hello -- there is a similar question from early 2007, but I am hoping to
pursue the response a bit further.
I have a family of opentype fonts (franklin gothic) that includes 14 faces
(italic, condensed, heavy, etc), which I can work with easily enough in
Illustrator & Photoshop, but have problems with in Powerpoint. When I try to
access the font in Powerpoint, there are only 4 varieties of the font
available, not the family of 14 faces.
The previous response notes how Windows does not work well with font
families, but Adobe apps, in that they sort of handle the fonts themselves,
do a much better job.
Wondering if anyone is aware of any fix/solution to make the wider variety
of faces available in PowerPoint. THANKS!
