Font setting

When creating new message, the font is set as I do not desire. I
still cannot figure out the font as default when I prepare a new
message. I use Entourage on OSX 10.1.5. Thank you for your help.

I do not understand. I have to set the default font not English
because I receive/send mails from the foreign country. Is this
causing it?

Clearly there's a communication problem here. What exactly is it that you're
trying to do, and what exactly isn't working as you would like, and how
exactly would you like it to work.

Sorry about my poor understanding. Here is what I want to do.
1) I want to use a desired font when creating new message but the
currently it shows Taipei and I do not like it because I cannot see '
and , .
2) Since I receive mails from Japan, and write to Japan, I have to set
the default language as 'Japanese'.
3) Under General Preferences, list item is Arial but this does not
create automatically Arial when creating new English message.
4) When I need to write in Japanese, I click US flag and change to my
language. This does not happen a lot as I use more English than
Japanese.
5) I just don't want to change the font every time I write an English
message. It sets up Taipei all the time and I have to manually change
the font to Arial or something else than Taipei.

Hope this explains what I want to do. Many thanks!!

The list font doesn't affect the font for messages. For that, you need to
change HTML or plain text font settings.
