I've had this problem for a long time and finally figured out a fix:
When I reply, using Entourage, to HTML mail sent to my Hotmail
account, the person receiving it would always complain that the font
was inexplicably large. Huge actually. 72 pt or more.
I figured out that I was using Gil Sans as my default font for HTML
mail and that by changing my default to a font more common (in this
case Trebuchet MS) the problem disappeared and the HTML I sent via
Entourage and my Hotmail account showed up correctly with the normal
sized font.
