Font Size

I've read quite a lot messages on the messageboard regarding the difference
in font size between macintosh and windows computers.

In entourage, the standard font size for messages in html seems to be
medium. I prefer the font 'Verdana' using the size 'smaller', but somehow it
doesn't select this size by default for newly created messages. Is there a
way to accomplish this?
