Fonts corrupted?

I've been a bad girl, I was removing fonts from system/library and
other places according to an article I was reading. Now Entourage has
corrupted fonts in the lists and in messages. New messages come in fine
but once clicked on they change to messed up.

I put everything back and reinstalled Office to no avail. Any ideas,
besides leaving the system folder alone?
