I was opening and closing fonts for a Quark file and all of
a sudden I lost all my preferences in the system (MacOS
10.2.8) It also affected the fonts that I veiw in
Entourage. They look bitmapped. I don't know what happened.
How do I get the fonts to view with out looking bitmapped?

Ask the Quark support folks. Sounds like it was their software that hosed
your computer.

Does anyone know how to control the fonts that are viewed
in the in box and folders . I had a system burp and the
text is now bitmapped. When I veiw messages it is ok.

Any thoughts would sure be apprecieated

I figured it out - I went into the system preferences and
increased the font smoothing. Now everything is easier to read.
