We seem to be having a problem with a particular set of documents,
where the footnotes are not getting numbered correctly. They look
fine, but then between 21 and 22, there is footnote 1. There is also a
footnote 1 at the start of the document. We've just gone in a manually
changed the footnote numbering, but I think there is a better way. Is
there some way to renumber the footnotes automatically?
We're running Word 2000, Windows 2000. I'm not sure what platform the
documents were created on.
