Force Update/Sync for projects

I'm just running a few Office 2004 clients over an Appletalk network
on a regular ol' file server (no Exchange or anyting), and I'm annoyed
by how long it takes new items to show up or update. Is there a way to
set how often it updates, or to manually force an update from the
server? I've looked around and can't find where you'd do this. Sure
seems like there'd be a way...

Thanks in advance,

....Ron

From what I understand, project syncing is optimized to reduce excessive
network traffic. Every 5 minutes Entourage checks against the shared
project file and sees if anything has changed. If you change anything in a
project on your computer, Entourage will start a 2 minute countdown period.
After those two minutes are up, Entourage will then restart that 5 minute
interval. However, if you change anything during those 2 minutes, the 2
minute counter restarts.

There is no way to change the update interval.

Actually, I think you might be able to force a sync by toggling the Work
Offline check box off then on again. Not 100% sure though; just a guess.
