foreign version of office 2003

Hi, I am a user of windows xp sp2 home edition ENGLISH version (came
preinstalled)

I purchased a copy of Microsoft Office 2003 (Student/ Teacher) which is an
Irish version.

Are these two compatible with each other?? do they lead problems, error
windows, sytem slowing etc ??
If anyone can help and/or has any suggestions, let me know.

I've never heard of an Irish version. I know MS was thinking of releasing
Office in Welsh, but I've not heard of one in Irish Gaelic. Please be aware
that most MS software is shipped to the UK from Dublin, so if there's a
label on the back stating 'Ireland' that's the reason.
