Form Activate event for a pop up form

I have two forms (Access 2000), and I want to run some
program code when switching between them. The problem is
that one of the forms is a pop-up form and none of the
De/Activate or Lost/GotFocus events are being triggered
when switching between the two. I don't want to resort to
using a timer event. Is there a way to do this?
