Format MSP cols, 2d not 2 days, reduce taskname indent, etc

How can I change to display format of columns in the MS Project Sheet views, eg
Duration: 2 wks to 2w
Work: 3 hrs to 3h
Type: Fixed Duration to D
and the most important
Task Name: reduce the default indentation (to say half its default value)

Is there any conditional formatting available on columns (cf excel)?

the Tools | Options | Edit dialog lets you do the weeks and hours thing.
There is no way to make the Type field be anything other than it is now.
You could use a formula in a custom text field to make this happen. The
following formula should do the trick:
IIf([Type]=1,"D",IIf([Type]=0,"U",IIf([Type]=2,"W","")))

The indent is a problem without a solution. There is not a way to change
the 'depth' of the indent. Sorry

Hi,

A half-hearted solution to the indentation problem is the combination of
options "Show Outline Number" ON and "Indent Tasks" Off.
The numbering generates a smaller indentation
