Formating a Cell to say either "Yes" or "No"

I would like a cell to answer either "Yes" or "No"
following a question. For example: If I write in one
cell did we provide a phone number? and the cell
immediately next to it would give you a drop down menu
with 2 choices: yes or no.

Look at Data validation in the menu bar
Choose list and fill in
Yes, No
