Formatting lost

1) When a PC using Outlook sends me a message, with tabs, I lose the tabs
upon receiving it.
Instead of reading the quote from left to right and the various prices lined
up, all I get is everything along the left hand border and the tabs stripped
out.

2) Along the same lines, when I get a signature from Outlook with the
company logo, they disappear from view and are only included as attachments.

Thanks

That's when the Outlook sender is sending by the Outlook default protocol of
RTF, which we don't have in Entourage. So it gets packaged as an unopenable
winmail.dat attachment and Entourage reads the alternative plain text
version instead. Ask your Outlook correspondents to send HTML instead of
RTF and you'll get the text formatting fine. They can do it. (And if they're
sending you a real attachment, they must send by either HTML or plain text:
otherwise the attachments get bundled into that winmail.dat thing and you
can't open them.)
