Formatting screwed up

For some reason some of my formatting doesn't appear to be working righ
in word (xp). Quotes and apostrophes are running into th
letters...seems very odd. For example the word "Boat" - the last quot
would be on top of the 't'. Or with the word it's. Theres no spac
between t and s --the apostrophe is just squeezed in there.

is this happening also when your zoom is set to 100% ... what font are you
using & how does it print? ... i find i often have similar problems on the
screen but they don't print and if i view them at 100% it goes away
