Just providing Feedback on a problem I hade with Form Mail.
I was getting an error stating - Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions
on this page and the Error Report in FP stated - (1) Saving Form Results to
E-Mail will not work unless either the "SMTPHost" or "SendmailCommand"
server configuration parameters are set.
I posted examples and the feedback was that my hosting company didn't have
the FP Extensions set up correctly.
I created new pages using Templates in FP 2002 with the same results. I
found after many conversations with my hosting provider that I am running
on a Linix server and my page with the form started with an Uppercase
Letter. All the templates in FP2000 default to uppercase for the starting
letter, so these didn't work either. As soon as I changed my page name to
all lowercase, all worked fine. Something so simple took so long to figure
out.
