Formula Auto-Fill Stopped Working?

I have a column of data, and I have entered a forumla in the column nex
to it - and then double clicked the bottom right of the cell t
auto-fill that formula all the way down to the bottom of the column
This is very simple, and I do this frequently.

However, for some reason, it is not working today???

When I auto-fill the formula to the rest of the cells, it gives me th
same value in every single cell. I checked that the formula is changin
to reflect the column to the left in every auto-filled cell, and it is


I cannot make sense of this. Can anyone help?

Any formula I try, it will not auto-fill, no matter how simple th
formula.

I tried using several...

one of them was a character count

=len(a1

If your cell references are ok, sounds like you have calculation set t
manual.

Go to Tools -> Options -> Calculations -> Automatic (check)

Or if you don't want it in Automatic, press F9. That's a good check t
see if it actually is a Calculation issue or not
