formula for auto increase invoice #

I have finished an invoice program for a friend, however, I can't figure out
if there is a formula to have it automatically increase the invoice number
with just the touch of a button. Like in QuickBooks you would use + or -.
Please help. Thanks

If the invoice # were in A1, right-click the worksheet
tab, View Code, and place in the following:

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As
Range)
With Application
If .Intersect(Range("A1"), Target) _
Is Nothing Then Exit Sub
.ScreenUpdating = False
With Target
.Value = .Value + 1
End With
.ScreenUpdating = True
End With
End Sub
////////////

Make sure you've entered a value first before inserting
the code.

Hi
if you want to increase the number with a click on something: You'll
need VBA (in this case an event macro is shown). So if you have no
experience with vBA maybe the following will help you:
