formula help

If I have a column of product numbers that all begin with XX, e.g.(XX35
XX04, XX32482, XX3405) and so on. If the first cell is in B1, is ther
is a formula that will replace the XX with 52 in every product numbe
in the column? I have tried ="52" & B1-Left(B1,2) without success
ideas?

=SUBSTITUTE(B1,"XX",52)
