Formula question

Which formula should i use to search for a matched date,
and if found , post the value next to the date?

Ie.

A B C D
FORMULA??
7/17/1996 35.75 2/16/2000 17.80 0
2/17/200 35.75 2/17/2000 18.15 35.75
7/19/1996 34.86 2/18/2000 18.00 0

Which formula can track from colum ( A) and if it finds
the same value (2/17/200) displays a value related to the
date (35.75).
