Try this

Go to Tools/Options/Calculations. See if manual is slected
and change it to automatic. You can keep manual if you
want and just press F9 when you r done inputing all your
values.

Hope this helps

I have a spreadsheet where I input information once a
month. With the information in a columns, each month has
a seperate column for an entire year. At the bottom of
each column I have placed the average and standard
deviation formula to save on time. The problem is once I
input the information in the column, the formulas do not
automatically give me the results. I have to click the
formula icon on the taskbar and then enter to come up with
the results. Is there anyway to have excel automatically
start calculating once numbers are being entered in the
column? Thanks...
