Forum notification of replies failing

When I first started visiting this discussion group, I was able to mark
various questions "Notify me of replies" successfully. Unfortunately, for the
last week or so, it hasn't been working... I receive "Notification failed.
Please try later."

I haven't changed any browser settings or such (that I'm aware of). Any
suggestions as to what's up and how I can fix it?
