Forward multiple mails doesn't mark each item as forwarded

We are using Outlook 2003 with Exchange Server 2003 SP1.

If you highlight several emails and then "forward" them collectively each
emailis not marked as having been forward unlike if you forward each mail
individually.

Any suggestions (other than to forward each mail individually!) would be
appreciated.
