Forward only 460 characters

I am trying to forward a short clip of e-mails to my mobile phone. When I send it they come across as multiple txt msgs mostly because of security message at the end of the e-mail. I would like to only get the first 460 characters sent to me so it only comes across as 1 msg, at least I can get the idea of what is in the e-mail. Does anyone know how to create a rule to do this, or can anybody tell me where I can look for something like this?
