?Forwarding criminal e-mails?

P

Philly

I recieved an e-mail here on a public(multiple users) business computer that contained an offer to send me "authentic kiddie" porn in exchange for $22.95 per week. I am probably just going to delete it, as I know no way of reporting it. It was sent by: Shadow Crew [[email protected]]. Since it looks like a free e-mail account, the guilty parties are most likely untraceable. I just thought that there might be some way to report something of this nature
Thanks
Philly

Hello
Forwarding it to your local police station might get you more advice then on
your Windows XP newsgroup board.

Thank you,
I had no idea what to do other than delete it, and that didn't seem very responsible. I appreciate the link "Doc."

Greetings --

You can still file a complaint with EarthLink, and it wouldn't
hurt to forward that email, complete with headers to the Federal Trade
Commission ([email protected]), who has an on-going spam investigation.
