Forwarding outside of AD domain

Steve Steinbeck

I have an execuitve that has set up a rule to forward his
email to his internet based account so that he is able to
rad eamils on his palm pc/telephone access device. That
device is working.

We have an Exchange 2000 service sp3 and are using
Outlook 2002 to get email. The rule does not run
automatically when hit by incoming email. If we run it
manually it tells us it has processed and we see it go to
the sent itms folder but nothing every arrives. Wee can
send to that address from here but we cannot forward. As
said earlier it also doesn't automaticcccaally check
either.

By (secure) default Exchange doesn't allow automatic forwarding/replying to
the Internet. If you are the mail administrator open the ESM and go to
Global Setting-> Internet Message Format-> doubleclick Default-> tab
Advanced to change the setting.

Thank you. That was the problem, now his email is
