Hi: I¹m using Entourage X and would like to forward a newsletter I get from
a restaurant which appears to be a picture but when I forward I just get the
text at the bottom....disclaimer type stuff.

Do I have a setting wrong or can I not do this?

Thanks
Mark

This is a problem with Entourage itself. The Entourage HTML creation engine
is extremely basic, meaning that it does not know how to handle complex
HTML, which is what you are doing when you ask it to forward this message.
There is one workaround in Entourage v.X: drag the message you'd like to
forward to the desktop, then attach the resulting .eml file to a new e-mail
message, and it should work alright. In Entourage 2004, there's a more
convenient option (Message>Forward as Attachment) to do the same thing
without having to drag messages to the desktop.

This is a problem. I go to "Message" on the menu bar and select "redirect".
This appears to maintain the HTML email.

Another option is to use 'Forward as Attchment' instead of Forward or
Redirect. It's not ideal because the attachment has to be opened by
the receiver, but it will retain all the pictures and formatting AND
allow you to add comments.

Yes, that is indeed the best solution, but as has already been pointed out,
the original poster uses Entourage v.X, and that menu item was only
introduced in Entourage 2004.
