Hello all
I'm new to FrontPage, & I'm trying to put together a simple page that
queries an Access db and displays the results in a table. This project is
for a small mail-order outfit I work for an we want to use it to allow our
customers to check the status of their orders over the internet.
I've used the FP databaseresults wizard to build the basic page, but I need
to edit the asp script it generates to add some functionality to the results
page. The problem I'm running into is that when I try to save or preview
the page I'm editing, I get as error message stating that: "A Frontpage
component has changed. " and informing me that the changes will be
overwritten. Microsoft's helpfull advice is to edit the page in Notepad and
upload it to the server, which I've done. Does anyone know any other way
around this problem? Do later versions of FrontPage have this handicap?
Any advice would be greatly appriciated.
