FP 2003 and Visual Studio

Randy

Anyone use FrontPage 2003 and Visual Studio.NET 2003 together?

What I had in mind was the programmer creates the project in VS 2003 and
then the layout and graphics designer could use FrontPage to make the page
look good.

Any comments?

Thanks,
Randy

That's pretty much what we do.

Didn't he express it bass ackwards though?

Not the way I read it. Of course, ambiguity has a certain quality to it.

The point being, ASP.NET development (for the most part) starts with doodles
proceeding to the use of an application such as FrontPage to layout the
design of the UI. The results are then thrown over the wall to the 'real
developers' and the process gets tossed back and forth until somebody
writing the checks cries uncle.

Then there is the Uber Geek model [1],[2] which I'm sure present company
would consider pertinent as too many of 'us' are at some level of mastery of
all three tiers of the web design-development process.

I expressed it the way it's probably going to happen. But it would be nice
if a project could start with either tool.

Shouldn't that be "back asswards"?

Thanks,
Randy

It's spelled as bass ackwards to mimic the observation of what is thought to
be backwards.
