Freeze-up/Crash

I am running Windows XP. P4 1.9 256ram
Have installed Microsoft Plus!
Whenever I run a screen saver it freezes up and is very
slow to respond when I move the mouse. After a while the
screen starts to lose pix...
Finally, it is completly frozen ctl-alt-del...nothing
will unfreeze. Cannot even shut off with on/off button, I
must unplug.
Have checked for Virus by NORTON ( latest update ) and
have none. However, I did have 32Blaster at one time.
Without screen saver computer runs fine.
Any suggestions?

Looks like your screen saver is the problem. Have you tried any of the
generic screen savers with XP? It could be a combination of your video card
driver and the screen saver also because it sounds like your screen saver is
writing over needed memory program space. charlie
