From fiield always appears filled in on replies

I have offcie 2003 with SP2. Sometime in the last 2 weeks, my replies started
to appear with the From field present, filled in with my account name. If I
try to send, I get an error that says I do not have send on behalf
permissions ???. If I remove my name from the from field, I can then send the
reply. Even if I choose View and uncheck the Show From field, it shows up
again on the next reply message. The From field is not present , nor filled
in on New messages.

How do I permannenty remove the From field on replies?
