Frontpage Makes My Files Writeable, SourceSafe

Frontpage Makes My Files Writeable, Just by loading the site.

Is ther anyway to turn this off. My Pages are controled by source
control VSS. By making the files writable it is screwing up Vss's
checkout model.

Is there a recommended wayto make Frontpage cooporate with SourceSafe?
