Frontpage template - discussions links

Website got scrambled. Need help
FP 2003, MSFP template I have the ability to allow others to post on a
discussions page.
This has been scrambled due to some problem.
Attempting repair without blowing away a complex site.

TOC is not being generated from postings.
Structure seems to be damaged.
I would appreciate any suggestions.

If opening the online site in FP and running Tools Recalculate hyperlinks doesn't repair if there is no way to correct the indexes
- Archive the current one (turn off post/reply in it) and start a new one for new posts
