Frustration with Links

S

Sam Elowitch

Hyperlinks in Entourage e-mail often do not work and sometimes leave out the
final character or form unwanted breaks, even when I enclose the entire URL
in braces.

This has the unsettling effect of producing links that do not work at all
for the recipient of the message, which is frustrating because most of my
recipients are newbies who cannot effectively troubleshoot on their own. I
end up looking like a schmuck!

Is there any way to edit the links? After all, what's so difficult about
inserting:

<a href="http://www.domain.extension/subdirectory">My linked text</a>

into the source code?

Of course, although you can view the source of a saved e-mail, one
apparently can't edit it.

Ah, well at least I found Paul Berkowitz' script, Make Hyperlinks X. That'll
make life easier.
