Functionality;Pasting Multiple jpg's into Multiple Slides

I do a considerable amount of work involving the
transformation of digital pictures into powerpoint slides.
I would like to be able to select multiple pictures and
past them across multiple slides in one fell swoop.
For example, I would select 50 pictures and paste them
into 50 slides without having to paste each one
individually.
Does this functionality exist?

Powerpoint XP has this feature built in (Photo Album)

After the first use, I got the message that the Trial
Version had expired on July, 31st, 2003 so it only
allowed me to use it once. I have a request to purchase
in with my Manager who won't get it till next week. Is
there anyway I can get a trial version that would last me
till then instead of one use?
