Okay, on top of trying to convert music, I need additional help. I am trying
to insert music onto another slide show, and it is a wav file, but for some
reason the music will not play. What am I doing wrong? Please help this
dumb shmuck.

Can't tell you what you are doing wrong without knowing what you are doing!
What version of PowerPoint? How are you inserting the WAV? What settings have
you used in "Custom Animations"? What do you have set in Tools > Options >
General for the linked file size? Have you moved the presentation file? Was
the WAV file in the same folder as the presentation **before** you inserted it?

1. What version of PowerPoint? I am using Power Point 2002
2. How are you inserting the WAV? I had been steered to a website where I
recieved my directions: www.rdpslides.com/pttfaq/FAQ00047.htm
3. What settings have you used in "Custom Animations"? I put reandom
animation, because I am not that entirely concerned about how the slides move
4. What do you have set in Tools > Options > General for the linked file
size? Have you moved the presentation file? It says 100, but I didn't touch
that because I do not know what that is.
5. Was the WAV file in the same folder as the presentation **before** you
inserted it? No. I don't think so. I was never told that it has to be. Is
it supposed to be in the same folder?

I am so sorry about this. Told you that I was a complete dummy.

3. Custom Animation setting are explained in the link you were sent to. See
the section called
"And if you use PowerPoint 20002/XP or PowerPoint 2003"

4. Set it to 50000. If your WAV isn't larger than 50MB it will be embedded in
your presentation file and you won't need to worry about broken links or where
your file is stored.

Remember, the music won't play unless you go to View > Slide Show. If you've
set the music to play on mouse click, you'll need to click the mouse.
