Garbled emails

Sometimes ‹ not always and not even always from the same person ‹ emails
come in with the body text, or much of it, in all garbled letters and
symbols.

It is usually when an email has been sent to a number of people.


If I click forward, I can see the email with the correct text.

The messages on the server are fine so I assume it is something in
Entourage. I have Office 2004, and Entourage 11.3.3 on a Mac OS 10.4.

Any ideas on what causes this and if there is a way to fix it?

Quit Entourage. Delete these files in Users/[YourUserName]/Library/Caches.
Restart Entourage.

com.microsoft.browserfont.cache
tasmanbrowser.cache
