Hello, thank you for your reply.

below is a screen print on what i am trying to do, this should make i
more easy to uderstand... :)

in Cell C16 i want to be able to put in a formula which will take th
first 3 letters in Cell B16 than add those numbers like in C20 and C21
those are examples i made to show you what i mean.
