Get rid of "Progress" window

Uhhh...here's a stupid one for you, how do I get rid of the "Progress"
window in Entourage 1004?
I'm real disappointed it is still popping to the front and staying there
every receive and send operation. I was really expecting this to be fixed in
E2004.

Please don't suggest Window>Progress or command-7 because it doesn't work.

Just close it by clicking the red Close button.
