Get "This page cannot be displayed" going to second slide of PPT 2002

Get "This page cannot be displayed" going to second slide
of PPT 2002. We are downloading these files from an IIS
ftp server. We are using Anonyous access. This doesn't
seem to happen on PPT 2000. It is trying to go to the
server instead of downloading to the users workstation.
Thanks for any help someone can give me.

Which one is working PPT 2002 or PPT 2000? And which one
isn't. Are you viewing in browser?

PPTT 2000 is working, PPT 2002 is not. We are viewing in
IE. Actually it works fine in Netscape.

Ah well. So be it.

But what's the nature of the URL? Is it literally an FTP link, a la
ftp://someplace.hidden.at.ibm.com/folder/file.ppt or ???

Thanks Steve for all of your suggestions. You are right that we they/their computers
are firing up PPT and opening the file directly into it when they click the ftp
link. Then it is suppose to open up locally for the second slide. It works fine with
PowerPoint 2000 but does not seem to work fine on PowerPoint 2002. We have
put the latest service on and sometime this actually fixes it but some people that
doesn't work for. I am not sure if it is some type of setting in Internet Explorer
perhaps. This works ok on Netscape.
