getting error when deleting mails

hi,
This is vinod.I am using MS outlook XP.I am facing a
strange problem.Whenever i am deleting any mails from
any of the personal folders, i am not able to do so, and i
am getting this error

"The message interface has returned an unknown error.If
the problem persist restsrt outlook".


I tried restarting Outlook.But no use.

Can anuy body help me on this issue.
