Getting ? mark boxes in email instead of images

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: pop

I am new to Apple and to Entourage and have just hooked up my POP email to Entourage. I am getting rich emails full of question mark boxes instead of the images and text I have come to expect. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix?

Open Entourage Preferences under Entourage in the Menu bar. Open Security
and make your selections.

One other solution is to check to see if you have "partially download
messages" selected in your Account under the Options tab. You should see a
link at the top of the message to get entire message.
