Global Address Directory and Out of Office Assistant

M

MAC!

Is there an out of office assistant in Entourage? I just migrated from
Outlook 2001 to Entourage 2004... so far so good... am so happy to
finally be able to view HTML emails from the exchange without
deploying classic mode!!! Before I go any further on how liberating
that is... can someone tell me if there is a way to access the out of
office assistant in Ent 2004 and if there is a way to do a search for
people other than their names or email in the address book global
directory?

Thanks for making it happen!

Hi,

You don't have a direct option to set Out of assistant... Where as you can
create a Rule for Out of office assistant in Entourage.

Note: This is a client side rule & Entourage should be always opened for the
rule to be applied.

Well if you have an Exchange account, you can access the OOOA through
your webmail account (it's under options).

No, you can only search by name & e-mail address. More options for
searching & browsing the Global Address Book have been requested here
several times previously. Your request here should be logged.
Alternatively, you can send feedback using the web form. In Entourage X or
2004, go to Help > Send Feedback on Entourage. Otherwise, click on this
direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback:
