global address list

we seem to have lost connection to the global address list. when we go to
the global address list from the entourage client, there is nohing there. is
there a problem with entourage, or could it be a network problem seeing as
how the mac's are in a different location than the exchange server?

Can you perform a search ?? DO you find anything when you enter the name
of someone you know is in there ??
