I have an eight page newsletter, and when I try to change the default tab
stops in Tabs... in the Format menu from 0.5" to 0.25", it works--until I
save the document. As soon as I open it back up, tabs have reverted back to
the 0.5" setting and all the articles, etc. are screwed up. Suggestions?
Also, what is the best way to expand the "padding" between columns in a text
box? Throughout the publication, I use mostly 3 column text boxes. The
interim editor before me would use three separate text boxes, one for each
column, and space as needed. I think this is unnecessary. Is there a better
way?
Finally (heh), how do I gently let the interim editor (an older retiree)
know that I am in charge now, that I appreciate his input, but that he can't
keep running the publication by proxy through me??
The first two questions, obviously, are the serious ones. Thanks for the help!
