Globally Removing Hyperlinks in a Document?

D

Dave & Margit

I'm working with a lot of HTML-pasted documents which have retained all
their hyperlinking, which is both cumbersome (launching the browser when
the links are clicked the wrong/right way) as well as storage-intensive;
I don't need the hyperlinks in the finished product. But the only way
I've found to remove them is link by link by link, which is highly
impractical in the documents I'm working with, which are hypertexted to
the degree where 9 out of 10 words are hyperlinked.

There "must" be a way to globally remove hyperlinks in a document, but I
can't find any reference to this in the helpfile or any of the drawbar
menus. If there's not, there should be....

If anyone can provide me a tip on this, please reply here or to
(e-mail address removed) (and of course remove the NOs and SPAMs from
that adress). Thanks.

If your document is not heavily formatted, consider selecting all of the
text or big chunks of it and clicking on copy, then on Edit / Paste Special
/ Unformatted text/ OK.
