What Catagory is Gmail?

I'm trying to add a new email account to my outlook, but I don't know what
catagory gmail falls into? PoP3, IMAP, etc?

Gmail is a POP3 Server

The general settings are Server: POP3: <POP.gmail.com> and the SMTP is
<SMTP.gmail.com>. Both are SSL encrypted, and the SMTP requires
authentication. The POP port is 995, and the SMTP is 465.

gmail has neat feature where you can make it come into Outlook
automatically. Just go to "tools" (or something!) - it will do it
automatically.

Outlook then checks for gmail.
