going to another page after clicking a button

I would like to accomplish the following:
after the user clicks a button, he/she goes to another page.
I tried:
sub buttonname_onclick ()
<A HREF= "http//www.msn.com">msn</A>
end sub
but it didn't work. Thanks for your help.
