I have a Packard Bell, which came with preinstalled Windows 98 and a few s/w
packages, most important being Word 97. Last year I had Internet Explorer
problems, which Microsoft support fixed by sending me a CD with Windows 98SE.
I upgraded to that and all was fine. Recently I had a problem and had to
reformat the system disk. Could not find the PB startup disk, so I installed
Windows 98SE, but with that I lost all my preinstalled s/w an licenses. Have
a Certificate of Authenticity for those, however.
Am I not entitled to download the original s/w? how do I go about that????
Would be most grateful if someone could help me with this, please.

Contact either the people you purchased your computer from or Packard Bell.

This group is for technical questions about Microsoft Access, the database
program.

It is *not* for general questions regarding "accessing" your computer.

Good luck.
